Netflix hosted the premiere of HIT MAN at the historic Paramount Theatre in Austin, TX. on May 15
Richard Linklater (Director/Co-Writer/Producer) was in attendance, alongside stars Glen Powell (Co-Writer/Producer) and Adria Arjona. Cast members Retta, Sanjay Rao, Molly Bernard, Mike Markoff, Beth Bartley, Kate Adair, Richard Robichaux, and Jonas Lerway were also in attendance. Hit Man, co-written by Linklater and Powell, is based on the Texas Monthly article by Skip Hollandsworth.
Producer Mike Blizzard joined, along with Texas Monthly’s Skip Hollandsworth and Executive Producers John Sloss, Zach Garrett, Julie Goldstein, Steve Barnett, Alan Powell, and Megan Creydt.
In addition to celebrating the film, the Austin Film Society inducted Glen Powell into the Texas Film Hall of Fame in a special presentation. The honor included remarks from Robert Rodriguez.
