Movie News: Fauna – Documentary has Broadcast Release on PBS POV Starting August 5, 2024

About—An old shepherd and his flock live alongside a high-tech laboratory for animal experimentation—two worlds that are two sides of the same coin. While the shepherd, afflicted with a bone disease, witnesses his profession disappearing, scientists are busier than ever researching the COVID-19 vaccine. In post-pandemic times, Fauna explores the relationship between humans, animals, and science.

The film shows you a lovely, tranquil scene in nature. After a while, the film shows the audience scenes in the lab. Then, it hits hard when we see the lovely goats ushered in. It is hard to watch, but we are now aware of what must be done after the COVID-19 pandemic has spread in our world. Many of us are just now fully aware of what happens as part of the research. We see the human and animal life cycle, and there is plenty to think about.

The broadcast release of the documentary Fauna, directed by Pau Faus, is set in a high-tech COVID-19 vaccine research lab that is side-by-side with a traditional shepherd.

The film explores modernity’s paradoxical relationship with nature and animal experimentation’s role in advancing modern medicine.
