Movie News: aGLIFF’s PRISM 37 LGBTQ+ Film Festival is Host to In the Summers Starring Residente

In the Summers is one of the many featured films offered during the aGLIFF’s PRISM 37 LGBTQ+ Film Festival held annually in Austin, TX. The film is a heartfelt family drama set in New Mexico.

Synopsis- On a journey that spans the formative years of their lives, two sisters navigate their loving but volatile father during their yearly summer visits to his home in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Starring Residente (René Pérez Jogla of hip-hop group Calle 13), Sasha Calle (The Flash, 2023), and Lio Mehiel (Mutt, 2023).
