Fantastic Fest, the largest genre film festival in the US, specializing in horror, fantasy, sci-fi, and action movies worldwide, is now upon us. Starting Thursday, September 19, in Austin, TX, features and shorts are too numerous to list at once, but here are some for your consideration.

AJ GOES to the DOG PARK – WORLD PREMIERE Monday, September 23, 2024
Cartoonist and writer Toby Jones (“OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes”, “Regular Show”) takes his first steps as a live-action director with AJ Goes to the Dog Park. The gag-driven comedy will world premiere in Austin. Set in the Midwest haven of Fargo, North Dakota, AJ Goes to the Dog Park follows an ordinary man (AJ Thompson) as he tries to get his dog park back from a nefarious, blogging-obsessed Mayor.
