Four years after the destruction of Isla Nublar, dinosaurs now live–and hunt–alongside humans all over the world. This fragile balance will reshape the future and determine, once and for all, whether human beings are to remain the apex predators on a planet they now share with history’s most fearsome creatures in a new Era (IMDB).
I saw the first three installments of this franchise when they were released. I vividly remember the first film because there were fully computer-generated animals which was ground breaking at the time. There are now six films and now it has become commonplace which I believe overall is a good thing. I admit I lost interest after the first three. What drew me to want to see this film was all the actors from the previous films I truly enjoyed were back and together. Not only do they portray their characters as well as they have in the past but the good writing helped immensely. There weren’t too many boring one-liners which is a good thing. They took the good parts of the previous films and brought them all together in a good way.
If you enjoyed any of the previous films in this franchise this film will not disappoint. In some way’s it is predictable but in others it is not. Surprisingly, for me, at two hours and thirty minutes I was never bored thinking when is this going to end.
