When Fred Flarsky (Seth Rogen) reunites with his first crush, one of the most influential women in the world, Charlotte Field (Charlize Theron), he charms her. As she prepares to make a run for the Presidency, Charlotte hires Fred as her speechwriter and sparks fly (IMDB).

Theron and Rogen are spectacular and they work well together in this film. The plotline is definitely something we have not seen in a while which a miraculous thing in itself these days in Hollywood and from that perspective it is refreshing.

Although I did not find most of the humor laugh aloud funny, which most people in the theater did, it is a well-made, witty and acted film. I for one would love to see a woman become president and I hope it happens within my lifetime. It will be interesting to see how a first man acts in his new role. If you are looking for an entertaining and brutally honest film in regards to human nature then this is the one for you.
