The Texas Performing Arts presents the Broadway in Austin series with Girl From the North Country from April 23-28, 2024, at Bass Concert Hall, 2350 Robert Dedman Drive in Austin, TX.
Experience the magic of Girl From The North Country, a unique production written and directed by celebrated playwright Conor McPherson. This show features Tony Award-winning orchestrations by Simon Hale and reimagines 20 legendary songs of Bob Dylan in a way they’ve never been heard before. Don’t miss the chance to hear classics like “Forever Young,” “All Along The Watchtower,” “Hurricane,” “Slow Train Coming,” and “Like A Rolling Stone” in a whole new light.
It’s 1934 in Duluth, Minnesota. We meet a group of wayward travelers whose lives intersect in a guesthouse filled with music, life, and hope. Experience this ‘profoundly beautiful’ production (The New York Times) brought to vivid life by an extraordinary company of actors and musicians.
