The 70th Golden Globe Awards which celebrates excellence in film and television will take place on Sunday, January 13 at 7:00 pm (CT) and will air on NBC. Hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler take over the hosting duties from Ricky Gervais who hosted the event for the past three years. As a regular habit/tradition, I will be watching the awards show and have my picks and predictions for the movie categories. As I am not an avid television program viewer, I have no opinion or predictions for the TV categories. Typically, I report on this event after it has taken place, but I realized that predictions carry very little credibility if they are reported after the results are known. Therefore, this year I will offer my choices prior to the show and will return to compare notes with the actual winners. And now the nominees….
