This is an hour long stand-up comedy routine in Anjelah Johnson’s hometown, San Jose, California. She delivers laughs in front of a sold-out crowd. She talks about her life growing up in San Jose, her new marriage, and some of her recent movie roles. She tries to keep her routine real and engages only the things that she has experienced. Although some of her jokes seem to miss for me, it wasn’t because it wasn’t funny but because I really didn’t get the references. Latinos, Fillipinos, Puerto Ricans, and African-Americans will most likely get her humor more readily.
It’s the Taco Cabana girl!! WOW! I had no idea she was a famous stand-up comedian. I was excited to see her in the new movie “Enough Said” as Cathy in a small role and here she is in an hour long stand-up set. She is bright, funny, and down-to-Earth. She makes fun of herself, her family, and everyday situations.
Funny, talented woman that everyone should find humorous.
That’s my review and I’m sticking to it.
