For the past couple of years Jaime Burchardt, San Antonian and film fan extraordinaire, has hosted his own horror fest. He has created a month-long event where people can either watch films together in the comfort of their homes and tweet along, or attend screenings at certain designated theaters/venues where film geeks can congregate and celebrate the genre. This year, Jaime has decided to kick off his fest in his second home of Austin at none other than an Alamo Drafthouse theater and you can join him and other fans.
On October 1 at the Alamo Drafthouse Slaughter Lane, Jaime will kick off his annual THAT JAIME’S HORRORFEST with a special screening of James Cameron’s ALIENS. Because this is a Tugg screening, Jaime needs to sell a certain number of tickets to make this happen. If you are a fan of the film and have never had the pleasure of enjoying it on the big screen, here’s the opportunity to do so. So if you plan to go, act now or as soon as possible.
Jaime must sell enough tickets by September 24 to reserve the theater. To buy tickets, go to http://www.tugg.com/events/5066 and for more information on THAT JAIME’S HORRORFEST, go to http://www.thatjaime.com/horrorfest. The Austin screening as well as the rest of the festival should be lots of fun
