How to buy tickets?

Your best option for purchasing “Hamilton” tickets will be online at www.TexasPerformingArts.org. A limited number of tickets will be available for purchase at the Texas Performing Arts Ticket Office. For best availability, it is recommended to purchase online. Tickets are not available for purchase by phone.

Online is the fastest way to purchase tickets. The Texas Performing Arts website, TexasPerformingArts.org, is the only official website selling single tickets for the “HAMILTON” performances at Bass Concert Hall.

Any other website selling tickets to “HAMILTON” will be a broker or reseller and will charge you more than regular ticket prices. We cannot guarantee that tickets purchased through a ticket broker or reseller are valid, and therefore the Texas Performing Arts Ticket Office cannot assist guests who purchase through brokers if there are any problems with tickets.

Process for buying online:

● Visit TexasPerformingArts.org on a computer, tablet, or smartphone on Friday, April 12 before 10:00AM.

● You will enter the virtual waiting room.

● At 10am, everyone who is in the waiting room will be randomly assigned a place in the queue.

● After 10am, new people entering the waiting room will be added at the end of the queue.

● If you are still in the queue when inventory is scarce and/or tickets sell out, you will be notified with a message on your screen.

Please have your Texas Performing Arts account information handy. If you don’t already have a free account and password, set this up before April 12 to save time when the tickets go on sale. This information will help you log in quickly so you can order your “HAMILTON” tickets. If you need to create a free account, visit TexasPerformingArts.org and click on MY ACCOUNT.

Now, buy tickets! Once you reach the buying page, you have 8 minutes to complete your purchase. You cannot select specific seats on an interactive map, but you will be able to choose from seating areas and prices. You are allowed four (4) tickets per household and all sales are final. Review and confirm your performance date and time before you purchase; there are no refunds or exchanges.

Remember to look for limited view seats. Look for the glasses icon on the interactive seating map to view.

How do I protect my tickets?

Protect your investment. Each ticket has a one-of-a-kind barcode. Sharing this bar code online can compromise your tickets. Do not share a photo of the barcode on your “HAMILTON” tickets with anyone – especially on social media. Keep them in a safe place. #CoverTheCode.

How do I avoid scammers?

Please note that TexasPerformingArts.org and Bass Concert Hall are the ONLY authorized sources for “HAMILTON” tickets in Austin. If you purchase tickets from any other source, we cannot guarantee your seat. Tickets obtained from unauthorized sources are often greatly inflated in price. They may be stolen, counterfeit or invalid and may not be honored. Tickets purchased from other sources are not eligible for replacement if tickets are lost or stolen, or if the event is canceled or rescheduled. Broadway in Austin and Texas Performing Arts are not responsible for tickets purchased from other sources.

You should avoid unintentionally buying tickets from scalpers reselling tickets at many times face value.

Here are a few simple BUYER BEWARE tips:

‧ Purchase your tickets from TexasPerformingArts.org or directly at the Bass Concert Hall Ticket Office.

‧ Most tickets in Austin will not exceed $535.00 (plus applicable fees) at the on sale.

‧ If you see tickets for hundreds or thousands of dollars, you are probably buying from a third-party ticket broker. There is no guarantee these tickets are genuine.

‧ The resale of event tickets in Austin is legal. You may well find event tickets on sale at ticket brokers. Though brokers are never the primary sales point, they access tickets by purchasing them in the same way as the consumer.

Please keep in mind, when you buy from a broker:

‧ We cannot be responsible for tickets purchased through unauthorized third parties.

‧ We cannot replace your tickets if they are lost or stolen.

‧ We cannot issue a refund to you in case of an event cancellation.

‧ We cannot guarantee that your tickets are valid and therefore, cannot guarantee admittance.

‧ You may be paying much more than the ticket’s face value.

‧ We cannot contact you with information regarding time changes, show cancellations or other information.
