Blu-ray/DVD Release: PUERTO RICANS IN PARIS

Universal Pictures Home Entertainment announced the cop comedy, Puerto Ricans in Paris, will now be available on on Blu-ray™ and DVD on August 2, 2016. The film was screened at the Los Angeles Film Festival in June and has already become available on Digital HD June 10th.

In this feature film, two hardheaded New York detectives invade the City of Lights to unravel a high-fashion counterfeit investigation.

The fashion world of Paris is not ready for Luis (Luis Guzmán) and Eddie (Edgar Garcia), two NYPD investigators recruited by a fashion agency to track down the thief who has stolen its latest handbag designs. Barreling through the fashion shows, nightclubs, and hipster cafes of Paris, these two strangers in a strange land must use their wits to track down the elusive thief and collect a large bounty that would change their lives back home. Puerto Ricans in Paris is a laugh-out-loud, fish-out-of-water comedy.

Director Ian Edelman (How to Make it in America) co – wrote the script with Neel Shah for Puerto Ricans in Paris and they team up Luis Guzmán (Boogie Nights, We’re the Millers) and Edgar Garcia (How to Make it in America) as brother-in-law police partners hot on the haute couture case. The action comedy also stars Rosario Dawson (Marvel’s Daredevil), Miriam Shor (Younger), and Rosie Perez (Pineapple Express). Additional cast includes Alice Taglioni, Frederic Ansombre, among others. The Executive Producers are David Ortiz, Luis Guzman, Armando Christian Perez, Mark Allan, Alan Pao, Luke Daniels, Brandon Hogan and Heather Toll.

The film (for both versions) is rated R for language, including some sexual references and the Languages/Subtitles: English, Spanish/ English SDH, Spanish and French Subtitles. The run time for each version is 1 hour and 22 minutes.
