THE RETURN OF JAWS ON THE WATER
The Alamo’s new Rolling Roadshow team brings back one of the most talked about Alamo events of all time!
Austin, TX – Thursday, May 21, 2015 –
“The Rolling Roadshow is one of the most exciting arms of the incredibly exciting Alamo Drafthouse world,” says Henri Mazza, V.P. of Special Events, “because with the Roadshow the possibilities are endless. I can’t wait to be at these events, sitting in my own tube and feeling a bit uneasy about my legs dangling in the waters beneath me as JAWS devours swimmers on screen.”

JAWS ON THE WATER takes place June 27th and July 11th at the Texas Ski Ranch, an extreme sports destination midway between Austin and San Antonio off of I-35 that boasts two manmade lakes, including one with a sandy beach (the perfect vantage point for anyone who still doesn’t think it’s safe to get back in the water).
Before the film, audiences can explore the grounds, grab a cold Dos Equis from several satellite bars, then enjoy a special hosted preshow featuring a surprise appearance by the second most famous shark of all time. Tickets can include inner tubes for floating, but guests are more than welcome to bring their own preferred floating devices as well.
