Last night Austin Star Wars fans and fans of recently departed actress Carrie Fisher congregated outside of the Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar for a lightsaber vigil to the Princess who captured the hearts of so many. Attendees were encouraged to dress as their favorite Star Wars characters and to bring lightsabers to honor the talented actress and author. The sixty-year-old actress known for portraying Princess Leia Organa died on Tuesday, December 27 after suffering a severe heart attack over the holiday weekend.
