Bryan Anthony Ramirez got his start producing promotional pieces for the local ABC affiliate in his hometown of San Antonio, and doing camera work for FOX’s American Idol.   He served as editor on the Hector Galan documentary LOS LONELY BOYS: COTTONFIELDS AND CROSSROADS, before writing and directing his first short, NUNCA SABES, in 2006. MISSION PARK marks Ramirez’ feature directorial debut, and he recently co-directed the horror thriller SANITARIUM that premiered earlier this year at the 2013 Miami International Film Festival, and stars Malcolm McDowell, Lou Diamond Phillips, John Glover, Robert Englund, Lacy Chabret, David Mazouz, and Walter Perez.

“I am beyond excited that AMC Theaters is behind my film,” commented Ramirez.  “I made Mission Park to show that it’s the choices we make in life that define us, not the circumstance of our surroundings.  I really hope audiences leave the theater with this same realization.”
“Armando Montelongo Inc. strives to align themselves with companies that embody stewardship in their respected fields,” explains the company’s President and CEO, Armando Montelongo.  “With AMC Theaters’ partnership and belief in MISSION PARK, we are confident the film will be a huge success.”

“Through our AMC Independent platform, we regularly explore new distribution platforms to help independent filmmakers tell their stories,” said Nikkole Denson-Randolph, vice president, specialty and alternative content, AMC. “We are very proud to bring MISSION PARK to our screens and believe it to be a meaningful story.”
